April fools day

Last year when I was in 10th grade, my friends told me that school was cancelled on that day due to a strike or something like that. So I convinced my parents into me skipping school that day, I invited to come over but they said they all have something to do they will come over after 3 that was when school normally ended but I didn't notice I was too caught up into the fact that there wasn't school. So by 4pm my parents got a call from the head of the school and asked why I missed school and they were confused they thought there wasn't school and I got into so much trouble that day. I felt like killing my friends and I promised to get them back one day and I never did.
